| La variante Big Data è più attestata, soprattutto in ambiti estranei a IBM, come su IATE, o su siti aziendali autorevoli come quello di HPE e il glossario di Microsoft, ma essendo l’elaborato in esame un’edizione IBM è stato preferibile utilizzare la forma big data, l’unica attestata in ambito IBM. |
| Anche la forma big data è ampliamente attestata, oltre che in ambito IBM, nella parte italiana del sito, ove compare talvolta con le iniziali maiuscole nel titolo, ma in minuscolo nel resto del documento, ad esempio anche sulla Treccani e sul sito di SAS. |
